TANA & Lead the Path Foundation – Spreading Compassion and Care
For the third consecutive time, TANA (Telugu Association of North America) and Lead the Path Foundation came together to support women’s shelters in Gary, Indiana, and Illinois, under the guidance of Dr. Uma R. Katiki (Aramandla), NRI Students Coordinator, TANA. (10-25-2025)
This heartfelt initiative aimed to bring comfort and dignity to women in need through donations of sanitary supplies, food, and monetary contributions. Each gesture—no matter how small—helped uplift lives and remind these women that they are valued and not alone.
Women’s shelters serve as safe havens for those escaping difficult circumstances such as domestic violence, homelessness, or financial hardship. They provide not just shelter and necessities, but also counseling, empowerment programs, and hope for a fresh start.
TANA and Lead the Path Foundation are deeply committed to continuing such impactful service projects that embody the spirit of giving, compassion, and community support.
A heartfelt thank you to all the volunteers, donors ,TANA President , TANA leadership and Lead the Path Foundation Leadership who made this meaningful effort possible. Together, we are lighting the path toward dignity and hope for women in our communities.
